    Want to play with your friends? Create your own squad!
    Here is how to do it:

    1- To play together with your friends as a team. You need to invite your friends (who should be connected to Steam and visible as “online” in your friends list) and create a Crew by pressing “X” at the “Crew” terminal in Tortuga.

    2- If you want to play in Gold Rush mode, you must choose “create a Gold Rush Squad”. You can invite 3 friends as it’s a 4 vs 4 mode.

    3- Once you’ve created the type of Squad, you can invite your STEAM friends that should appear in a list on the right of the screen.

    4- Your friends then should recieve an invitation message.

    5- Once your Crew is created, go to the teleportation zone which launch the game mode you chose (Team Deathmatch or Gold Rush).

    There! You’ll be sent to your map! Enjoy!

    KNOWN ISSUES

    Launching the game by responding to a Steam invite does not reach the Crew-specific Tortuga

    In order to reach the crew when invited, you have to first launch the game, then display the Steam overlay (Shift+Tab) and finally accept your friend’s Steam invitation. You will be sent to the right Tortuga with other players of your crew.

    I have some difficulties to reach a crew

    There are still some cases in which reaching a crew may be difficult, like the crew leader having connection issues, or leaving the crew while you are responding to his/her invitation. We are working on finding and fixing all these specific issues.

    Hi Container!

    When you launch the game, you can see different pods (Practice, Bounty, Hero Selection…). Choose the pod “Crew”. When you are inside, depending of which mode you want to play, select “Form a Gold Rush Crew” or “Form a Team Deathmatch Crew”. Once you did it, you can see a Friends list. If your friends are online on Steam, you can see them and click on their nickname to invite them to play with you!
